Expansion joint fouls traffic on Interstate 5

Yeah. 405 was trashed too, with the diverted drivers, even up to and past Noon. Left Lynnwood an hour before my MS appointment in Redmond, and got there just in time.

If we have a more substantial long-term issue which closed many lanes on I-5, we would be in deep doo-doo.

But, we can't construct more alternate routes, as they would just "fill up" according to the immperial WSDOT.

Thanks for the post! Glad that this accident on expansion joint did not happen in the Philippines. This would surely cause trouble.
